With great sadness we have to say that we had serious network problems in NL again today, from 4:06 PM until 6:40 PM CET.
It started with a DDOS that came in around 3:50 PM which we null routed and everything remained stable again. 15 minutes later, our entire core switching crashed and refused to come back online. We have rebooted it, tried switching over to the second core but it didn't make any difference.
Our Network Team re-configured setup, everything started to come online again, rack-by-rack. Some packet loss might have occurred, but after a few minutes after this change, everything was stable and up again.
We do like to apologize again for the inconvenience caused. This week we probably have the switch-over to our new core network, so it's been a painful 4 days for now and we certainly didn't want it to happen at this point. We do hope you have some understanding for this and we hope we can stay doing business with each other in the future. We are investing big in our new setup to prevent things like these from happening.
