Hello everyone,

We’re celebrating being in business for 12 years this month. What started with a single rented dedicated server in 2011 has grown into a cloud platform that spans over 16 global locations - with standardized hardware, top class multi-homed networks and predictable (high) performance. Our new website is also live at hosthatch.com (looking forward to your feedback as we update it over the next few weeks)

We’ve made huge investments over the past year. The biggest ones have been (re)building our networks in LA, New York, Chicago, London, Hong Kong, and Singapore - where we have doubled our capacities for hardware, and added access to new carriers (no more Psychz or M247), and will continue to make further improvements by adding more carriers and route optimizing where needed. Our networks are optimized for performance, not cost. We can now stand behind our service and truly say that you won’t find a better network to be a part of in most of these locations, with extremely premium bandwidth that we can deliver to you at low pricing due to our scale.

We are offering a 25% discount across all of our services on hosthatch.com on annual billing terms. Note that these plans come with our normal support queue - with an average response time of under 1 hour in most cases, and we consider these plans to be production ready. Use the coupon code “12th-anniversary” when creating a VM from cloud.hosthatch.com

We also have the following Black Friday-esque plans for our users hunting for the “best deal”. These come with slower support, and you might find that paying a few extra dollars for our plans on the website might be worth the money for when the day comes.

What is the setup time?

The setup time is 1-2 weeks, depending on the package and location. Some may get slightly delayed. Please order one of the packages from hosthatch.com directly if immediate provisioning is needed.

Are smaller plans available?

Unfortunately no. Due to the current market circumstances with high inflation, electricity prices and IPv4 prices, we're not able to offer anything smaller.

Is IPv6 available?

Routed /64 per VM is available and can be enabled from the control panel. In some locations, it is not available, as we are unable to maintain reliability of IPv6 in these places. Please see https://docs.hosthatch.com/features/

Are there any other differences between our normal and discounted plans?

Yes, primarily our support. It can take several days to resolve issues, especially issues that require complex investigation. Please choose one of the services from hosthatch.com directly for production usage, with access to our normal support queue. Our promotional services are provided at near-cost pricing to fill up excess capacity and should be used accordingly. We also do not offer location migrations and/or other flexibilities on these
plans.

There is no difference in the quality of the servers itself - as we use the same backend, enterprise hardware and excellent monitoring for all of our services. We run a standardized and redundant Juniper based network in all of our locations, which allows us to deliver excellent uptime and network performance.

What networks and datacenters do you use?

Why is X location/offer not available?

We have more excess capacity in some locations as compared to others. Unfortunately, once it is sold out, it is sold out, and we cannot change this. There is a limited amount of capacity available in each location. We don't sell snake oil, we tell you upfront that this is a once a year special offer, that will not be available again any time soon, especially with the market conditions with high inflation and high electricity prices at the moment.

Can I change my server with the X offer?

Unfortunately no. All sales are final, and we cannot offer any changes to them. We cannot replace one pending service with another. We also do not provide any refunds for pending orders. Please make sure you are 100% sure before placing an order, as there is very limited capacity available.

重点是内存翻倍吧，16变32，毕竟不是1变2，512变1 这么小，所以这价格也是有一点道理的
